Complete Farmer to strengthen its outgrower network with technical assistance from EDFI Management Company to be delivered by COLEAD
Accra, Ghana and Brussels, Belgium – 10 December 2025 — Complete Farmer, a Ghanaian agritech company connecting stakeholders across the agricultural value chain, has received technical assistance from EDFI Management Company through the AgriFI Country Window (CW) Ghana facility. This support will help Complete Farmer enhance its outgrower model and strengthen relationships with the more than 12,500 smallholder and commercial 61,346 farmers in its network.
Earlier in 2025, AgriFI, the EU-funded agriculture impact investment facility managed by EDFI Management Company, invested USD 2.5 million (EUR 2.2 million) in Complete Farmer through the AgriFI Ghana Country Window, providing long-term financing to scale the company’s operations and deepen its engagement with smallholder and commercial farmers.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Accra, Complete Farmer provides digital farming and market linkages to make agriculture more efficient, data-driven, and accessible for farmers and buyers. EDFI Management Company, through a technical assistance consultancy cooperation agreement with COLEAD, is supporting Complete Farmer to adjust and further build their outgrower programme and training system.
This technical assistance aligns with EDFI Management Company’s mission to strengthen the capacity and resilience of agribusinesses in Africa through tailored advisory support, enabling them to generate sustainable development impact and improve livelihoods across agricultural value chains.
