About the Event

In the face of seismic geopolitical shifts and economic volatility, the need to channel capital towards sustainable solutions has taken on a new urgency. Yet it is at these critical junctures – the crossroads of progress and possibility – where the most meaningful transformations take place.

On 2 October 2024, EDFI Management Company will host its Corporate Day under the theme “At the Crossroads.”

This gathering will bring together impact investment leaders from European Development Finance Institutions (EDFIs), Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), and other International Financial Institutions and impact investors, as well as representatives from the European Commission, and of course, our portfolio companies. Together, we will explore directions that could propel impact investment forward amidst a rapidly changing global order.

Through a series of thought provoking panel discussions we will explore:

The impact investment ecosystem positioning in a world featured by geopolitical disruption and macroeconomic instability.
The challenge of capital mobilisation - strategies, asset classes and the role of guarantees and blended finance solutions.
Fostering entrepreneurship and sustainable development - concessional funding and entrepreneurship in frontier markets.
