About the Event

In 2026, EDFI Management Company marks ten years of partnering with European DFIs and development partners to channel private capital where it is needed most. This year’s Corporate Day brings our community together to look inwards at how EDFI MC has evolved from its early days into today’s platform, and to look ahead at the strategic choices that will define our next decade. Through honest reflection, open conversation and forward‑looking dialogue, we will move from lessons learned to a shared course for the future.

Why this year matters

Over the past decade, EDFI MC has grown from a small team with a bold mandate into a recognised European platform for blended finance and impact delivery. This anniversary is a moment to acknowledge what has worked, where we have adapted, and how our culture and partnerships have shaped our trajectory. It is also an opportunity to align around what comes next: the role of EDFI MC in a changing development finance ecosystem, new partnerships, and the capabilities we need to build for the future.

About previous events

The inaugural 2024 EDFI MC Corporate Day, “At the Crossroads,” marked a pivotal moment as we recognised the converging pressures of geopolitical tensions, climate vulnerability, and rising capital needs in frontier markets. Building on this, the 2025 edition, “Beyond the Crossroads,” shifted the focus from recognising the crossroads to charting concrete pathways for greater capital mobilisation, resilience, and impact. This year’s 10-year anniversary edition will look ahead once more, taking stock of a decade of progress while asking how development finance can continue to lead in an even more complex global environment.
